Are you looking for new self care products to change your life?
When it comes to self care and wellness, this idea can encompass many different aspects in life. Not just the traditional bubble baths and face masks that you think about when you hear the term ‘self care’.
(But keep an eye out for those too!)
At its simplest, it all comes down to looking after yourself physically, mentally and emotionally. The products that I’ll be going through help to target these areas in their own ways.
If you’re stuck for ideas for yourself, below you’ll be able to find a variety of my old favourites, and some of the newest additions into my self care routine.
Altogether, these make up my top 10 best self care products – which I hope you’ll love using as much as I do!
Garnier Sheet Masks
If you’ve read some of my previous self care posts, it’ll come as no surprise to you that these Garnier sheet masks are on the list! I love how they make my skin feel, and that there’s a mask for every skin goal. Whether I feel like I need the extra moisture, hydration, or brightening, there’s an option to choose from.
And as it’s such a classic form of self care, it won’t feel too drastic a change to start incorporating into your self care routine.

Twinings Superblends Glow Tea
One of my newest favourites is the Twinings Superblends Glow Tea. If you know me, you know that I don’t particularly enjoy hot drinks and teas. So to put this on my top 10 has to mean something!
I love the delicate strawberry flavour, and it’s the first hot drink I’ve really enjoyed just sitting and relaxing with. There’s also the added benefit of biotin, which helps with the maintenance of normal skin and hair. Maybe it’s just a marketing trick, but I already feel like my skin is more glowy.
Either way, it’s a lovely treat to sit down and relax with, particularly on these colder evenings.

The Five Minute Journal
One of the most important parts of self care is looking after yourself and your mental health. Practicing gratitude is an amazing way to do that. When you take the time to reflect on what you’re grateful on, this can help you to shift your focus and overall outlook on life. That way, you can learn to see the positivity rather than the negativity.
This journal gives you small prompts each day to get you thinking about these moments of gratitude, as well as weekly challenges to incorporate mindfulness and gratitude into your daily practices. It’s a simple by highly effective tool, and having tried a few that are similar, I haven’t found a better alternative.

Sundae Shower Foam
Another new addition to my favourite self care products is the Sundae shower foam, particularly in this Very Vanilla scent. It’s a bit more on the pricey side for a shower product, but it does feel very luxurious to use.
It’s a real pamper treat, especially to wind down in the evening. You’ll find that there’s nothing boring or vanilla about this shower foam!

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm
Another self care staple for me has to be lip balm – I don’t go anywhere without it! And it’s a small treat every time I use it. The Burt’s Bees range is also my favourite to use, as there’s so many to choose from. I’m currently loving the Vanilla Bean, but the Coconut & Pear is also very creamy and soft. You can’t go wrong with the OG Beeswax either.
If you struggle to find the time for self care, sometimes, this is all it takes. It’s a quick pick me up, keeping your lips moisturised and hydrated, and one I can’t go without.

The Ordinary Serum
I think a quality serum is an essential part of your skincare routine, and this one is my favourite. There are serums available for all skincare goals, which is a great way to add that little bit ‘extra’ to your routine, and should be in your top self care products overall.
Personally, I use this The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, as I don’t feel I have any specific concerns, I just want that bright, smooth, glowy look. It makes me feel better about myself, and I think it’s doing the trick!

Gisou Hair Oil
This hair oil is definitely one of the most luxurious products I’ve used, and it’s a real treat for my hair. It has so many benefits, and is a lovely addition to any Sunday self care routine.
Personally, I really want to achieve shinier, healthier hair. Dealing with frizz is also a big issue of mine, and this oil helps to combat all of those. I also find that you only need to use it sparingly, so the bottle lasts, and lasts!

Anthropologie Sol Tabac Candle
Every self care day needs a candle, it’s a given. One of my favourites is this Sol Tabac scented candle by Anthropologie. It’s an acquired scent, but I absolutely love it.
When we think of traditional forms of self care, it’s almost always complimented with a candle. It’s a must-have self care product!

The Body Shop Body Yoghurt
This Body Shop body yoghurt absolutely has to be in my top 10 – particularly the almond scent. A high quality moisturiser is always a must, and I think this is one of the most moisturising and hydrating out there.
Despite being incredible thick and moisturising, it’s very quick to dry. I don’t know about you, but I hate the feeling of moisturiser drying on me. But not this one! It also leaves a lovely, delicate scent that lasts all evening, as well as beautifully soft skin.

Fresh Face Mask
Last, but by no means least, on my list is the Fresh Floral Recovery Calming Mask. Again, this is quite a new addition onto my list, as I was given it as a Christmas present.
But despite already having face masks on my list, this one is a completely different product. It’s an overnight face mask that is deeply moisturising, and calming for when my skin feels a little more sensitive. I’m also obsessed with developing that glowy look, and this is a great product to do so!
